Throughout my reading, Bigger Pockets was advised and so here I am.I have an idea (my wife is on board) of what my investment journey would look like, but i would love to hear expert advice from the forum.

@Robby Williams I'm a BRRRR investor but if you have the option to house hack (and if your wife is on board), then I'd probably suggest house hacking.

I could try to get everyone in the neighborhood on board with a zoning change but that is unlikely.

I have talked with him already about my plans and he is on board with taking on the renovations.

I connected with someone in feb on here who came highly recommended but the onboarding process has been painful and disjointed there's been lots of miscommunications.

If you are fortunate enough to have parents on board with your plan, you could see if they would use their credit for you and "buy an investment property" that you and your friends could live in.
