It isn't like Sacramento where the weather is mild. 

Considering other markets where summers are mild and autumn is beautiful since I'm ready to retire and live 1/2 the year elsewhere. 

Pictures just plainly will not give even a mildly adequate understanding of what you are looking at.For instance:Found what looked like a great duplex.

Also, I would ideally like this property to be a mild fixer-upper so I can add some sweat equity to it.Regarding rental, as I am searching for properties, I am trying to figure out if I should pay a little extra to be right on the beach or a few blocks inland is ok..

And, yes, I realize that I have the right to Just Say No.Please understand: I am appalled by what happened, and I've second-guessed myself a lot for the mild level of feedback I gave the tenant in the past.
