tenant doesn't care for dog well--is it my business, or not?
Hi all,
I have a sweet tenant (30-something male) with a dog. I think this tenant means well, but he's pretty naive. He's left his short-haired dog tied up outdoors all night in winter, left it caged indoors all day when he's out--and today the dog choked on the leash/chain that was attached to a dog-run wire... and died. I'm shaken.
Now this tenant wants to get a new puppy. Do I get to lecture him on proper dog treatment? How would you handle this?
Thank you.
