New roof, new flooring, renovated all three bathrooms, new paint interior and exterior, new SS appliance suite, new lighting, new front storm door, xeroscaping front yard, new water heater, new concrete backyard patio and wood deck, new garage door opener, and programable thermostat.

I installed a wifi thermostat hardwired to the boiler system in the basement.

The smoke alarms, carbon monoxide, and thermostats, as well as an alarm in the basements to let us know if there is water detected. 

Open to ideas.I can tell you, the Nest Thermostats in my home save me about 150 - 200 bucks a month then my previous programmable thermostats.

I also use an Amazon echo that interacts with those smart switches and the thermostat so guests can even query thermostat temperature or change the temp via Alexa. 

Everything else can be handled remotely - keyless entry, Wi-Fi thermostat.

Thanks to@John Underwood I've gotten good tips from  for the wifi thermostat and camera.I see on some listings with leather and some with microfiber.

On my VRBO I have Honeywell wifi thermostats, Digital Watchdog commercial grade camera system and just added a Rheem wifi water heater.I see no value in adding any of these to a rental as it doesn't increase the rent I get on the unit and I don't pay the utilities.
