You see, I currently wash dishes for a local restaurant chain during the day, bring in barely 1k per month in income (after taxes), a little over half of which goes toward living expenses, and use a bicycle and the local transit system to commute around town since I don't own a car.

I'm starting with wholesale and will transition to gov housing.

Bigger problem is transition from $70K to $22.6K income.

I am new not only on the boards but to this transition to what I consider a stepping stone into a new future for myself.

I am going to be transitioning to a new property management company (current is going to retire). 

We have many of the pieces in place to transition into this business and have recently found a potential investor.

So with that said – you might want to take it slowly – that is--- keep your job--- and accelerate your learning and exposure to real estate investing and begin your transition to a position that will able you to control real estate and profit from your activities ONE DEAL AT A TIME!

. - not planning for the eventual transition of properties into a corporation (if deemed by your goals and strategy) from the beginning can have expensive consequences down the road  (as indicated by the investor with whom you spoke recently).
