In Australia there are considerable entry costs (Stamp Transfer Duty, mortgage application fees, title registration fees) as well as considerable exit costs (Capital Gains Tax and Land Tax (for developers)).

They said OK but still want to charge me over $500 doc prep fees and put in my HUD 1 that I am responsible for the tax stamps which are typically paid by the seller or 50/50 split in my state.

The "Certificate of Mailing" only proves we presented the letter to a post office employee and provides a clearly printed stamp of date it was mailed.

Regardless, whoever rebuilds here will need to tear down the damaged structure, get an engineer to stamp new drawings, permit and rebuild a big portion of whats there.
