I recommend that if you want to wholesale, to just limit your information intake for the whole selling arena and take action when you feel almost ready…you will never be 100% ready, and with laser focus vision and action you will learn that the knowledge is truly in the engagement and practice of the unknown.

If its the actual birdsmouth ( notch area where it sits on the top plate ) that is structural and would need complete replacing up to the ridge beam.

WE don't pay anywhere near 1k per house though..Although for new construction its much eaiser for the inspector he is there at post and beam and top out and rough elec.

There were also other exposed beams, areas of the house that were fixed and look perfect now, but those are the areas that will probably have to be opened up again.
