I think he meant that there are so many vacancies on the force, and so much scrutiny of the job cops are doing, and so many social problems such as homelessness and stress brought on by the need to make $20-$30 an hour minimum to live here, that if the pay doesn't incentivize good cops coming here then Asheville is facing a crime and safety catastrophe that has in fact already begun.

At least mine is on the second floor, but not sure it would matter very much with a cat 4 or 5 hit....assuming no major world catastrophe, I hope to be able to live about 3 or 4 months there a couple of years from now to really experience the island life.....Keeping my fingers crossed the Riviera Maya keeps on growing with tourism.

Also, I need to know who all is present in the home should there be a catastrophic event, like the place burns down.I make it an automated practice to send reminders to tenants at certain points in their lease term (that require a response) to inform us of any changes to their household makeup as reflected on the lease - and that failure to do so is a lease violation that could result in lease NON-renewal or termination / eviction filing.
