@Vasudev Kirs I don’t know that the application sent out to the prospective tenants will divulge your personal name but I suspect for the purposes of doing the actual background checks MySmartMove may need an actual contact person with real information.

You have to understand the two different product offerings and business models.With your background as a contractor, I would also do Contractor bays.If your just yanking our chains, then you got me.

. ;)As far as who to rent to: the group with the better credit history, higher scores, no or least criminal background, most stable job history, rent history etc.

A little bit of background, I own and manage several hundred doors in the Metro Detroit area and have been active in the investing community since 2003. 

Once you have some prospective residents it's important to do your due diligence with screening using background checks,income verification, and credit reports.

Cash out refinance is an option as well, but it is not very appealing at this time (background here is $330k left on mortgage at 2.65% rate).
