Being a recipient of any form of public assistance is a protected class in Mass.Be sure that you treat all tenants - voucher or not - exactly the same and you'll stay out of hot water.

Wayne,I'm not sure about your state laws, but in Florida, if a Medicaid recipient move to a nursing facility, the house is no longer their primary residence and therefore they lose the exemption.
