The low hanging fruit is long gone.

After working on it, I noticed several other plumbing issues (faucet leaking out the back very slowly, drain basket leaking under sink, pipes leaking, etc.).  

No good to have all eggs in one basket.

It's simply a way to not have all eggs in one basket.

I wouldn't want all my eggs in one basket trying to rent a million dollar SFM to one person, although I'm sure someone is out there doing just that!

An incoming filter on my Linux server sees that there is a tiff attachment, and unpacks them into the directory I use for my fax in basket.

It's foolish to put all your eggs in one basket, though.

In my mind, going overboard in decorating ONLY makes sense if you don't intend to sell (as is the case you have described)....so you get to enjoy the fruits of your labors (and money spent).
