They just might have to go through less pleasant channels now, like getting a loan from a family member/friend, a cash advance from their CC, and/or a payday loan (since the wife starts working in Nov.).Keep us updated! 

But how does Cozy make money if you stick to ACH and not CC?

They will also be obtaining some deposit secured CC's to increase their positive payment history as well.  

Or is there a way to use a cc at closing?
