I have no experience with this but have taken advantage of the rebates offered by local power companies to upgrade windows, doors, thermostat, add insulation, etc. always a good way to add value and get some money back.

The one thing I will say is the temp control is most difficult thing to accommodate for tenants so if you do not have separate thermostat, make sure to provide a heater or additional AC unit.
