This is a "Sandwich LO", and is a great way to control the property without having to spend any money...and only using a small amount of money, for a very short period of time.It's true, you can't sell the "property" on an option, if you're buying on an option, because you don't own the property.

Thanks for the info on taxes - googled and found out that there is a hike of 35.4 cents for every $100 of assessed value.I know Avon and Plainfield are popular, though I wonder about this neighborhood (which I guess is neither Avon nor Plainfield) sandwiched between rail lines to the northwest and airport to the southeast.
