I currently work for Keller Williams and looking on the MLS is super stressful…I was wondering what peoples thoughts were on sending personal letters or even going door to door and letting people know that I want to buy their home and it’s my first purchase and I would plan on living there myself…all of that jazz.

Remax and Keller Williams are companies started by investors, check with the local office and ask for the agent(s) that work with investors and talk with them.Obviously if the house needs all that work and would be ARV of 450K ish,  you can't even day dream about offering anything close to what she was suggesting.

I'm a beginner just like you but I have done quite a bit of reading over the past year and the best book I have come across is The millionaire real estate investor by Gary Keller.

But before I do so, I was thinking perhaps you might have access to market analysis through your internship at Keller Williams.  

I recommend aside from BP read the Millionaire Real Estate Investor book by Gary Keller.

I live in Wichita Falls, but we are hoping to focus on the Alvord/Decatur to Keller area.
