@Jacob Elliott First I’d educate myself by reading some of the books on real estate investing that can be found here in the BIGGERPOCKETS book store that outline the types of investing and walk you through some of the steps involved in investing.Then I’d figure out what type of property I felt most drawn to, Single family homes, small multi families, mid sized multi families, AirBnB’s, commercial properties, something more passive like REITs, etc. and do some further research on that particular type of property you’re most interested in.

BP's bookstore has great books for wholesalers, house-flippers, house-hackers, rental property investors, and long distance/remote investors.I would start with the book that most closely resembles your goal for getting started.

Spend the next 2-3 months studying every thread on these forums, listening to the bigger pockets podcasts (specifically the ones with landlord guests), and reading a couple of books (see bookstore link above).After you've done that, time to start networking, building your team, and writing offers.

@Alexander Rosegren up top in the links, if you go to bookstore, you will find lots of good selections. the book on BRRR might be a good starting point for you.
