I also thought the floor was 18" ceramic tiles, I've never seen vinyl quite like that.Here's a black appliance kitchen of mine (forgive the funky panarama, I need to get an SLR with a superwide lens)  Note the undercounter lighting, is very cheap now and makes a huge difference!

You can also use quartz, ceramic tiles, laminate, or wood.

I also owned a ceramic shop and I am currently waiting for an approval, from the United Stated Patent and Trademark Office on an item I innovated.

Get something ceramic in a fairly "boring" color and buy extra (like a couple of boxes) so that a handyman can replace a broken tile when/if that happens.

For those rooms we installed ceramic tile.

my personal experience with rehabs generally range from ten to twenty thousand based on the quality of materials you use example. ceramic to lynolium tile generic or name brand paint carpet to hardwood floors etc.

Some upgrades are to upgrade linoleum for ceramic tile.

It actually looks/feels like ceramic or porcelain but i thought that those were so highend that no one would have bought one for this unit (which we recently acquired), when i get back next I will take a picture and see if i can attach it.
