I would have phoned the utilities to let them know the place was being sold and the closing date.

Many don't pick up the phone past 5pm or before 9am, don't work on the weekends, only push files in and do not really review them, and are difficult to get a hold of. 

They seem like good people on the phone.

We started taking the Houston phone book which was huge and by category and just flip pages and put our finger down without looking for a selection.

From there I went to white pages to get phone numbers and started calling owners.

My availability is not the same as everybody else's, so being told to man the phones is quite difficult.
