Of course, properties don't appreciate as rapidly in GA as they do in the West, but my goal was more for monthly income while tenants pay the properties off.

Im on the west valley and prices are still out of this world. 400k for a decent home that rents for $2200.What Ive gathered is that these investors have/are in:Syndicates PartnershipsRefi their appreciating home to purchase another oneEither way, a lot of these people own a small percentage of that home and/or are very over leveraged

Tulum has significant plans for the future, and many Mexican politicians and private sector players believe that it will surpass Playa del Carmen.Overall I believe specific locations in Mexico are great investment opportunities, as the world splits into east and west, bringing production closer to home is becoming a priority for major Western economies.

We have always been heavy travelers so this has been a great fit.Another item to watch for are areas that are tightening regulation and areas that are the wild west that now have an oversupply of airbnbs.  

I am very familiar with the different neighborhoods (North end, South End, West End, Downtown).

I would focus on areas up north like Linden and areas on the west side of Columbus, like Franklinton and Hilltop.
