Stop looking at the latest gadgets, and trinkets.

Make sure your kitchen gadgets are plentiful.

But the onsite manager is like inspector gadget and nosy with going around all day long.

Verbally, I will tell them that I could care less if they want to fry their brains, but they are not to smoke or vape anything inside my rental or there will be some heavy financial penalties in their future. 

I'm considering it @Andy Robison that's the developers price, when the wearable gadget arrives on the consumer market it could cost in my opinion less than $400Note: I am not trying to promote Google Glasses, just wondering how to use it in real estate in an effective way.

I've spoken to my tenants several times about the use of smoking and Vape products and marijuana products.

A resident on the second floor is a medical marijuana user who vapes for her condition.

A friend of mine just changed provider to get a new iPhone on a contract, and I'm actually not impressed - it looks really nice, but for usability I actually prefer my XDA (although that could be something to do with spending a year picking out the perfect apps and customising my install of Windows Mobile).If you want 'the gadget', and like to look cool, I agree the iPhone is far sexier than my brick, though :)

Here is why I would say a loud resounding "NO"It doesn't matter what new gadgets come out, and pretty much everyone has the "new shiny object" syndrome.
