Hey gang - A partner and I just started a local RE investor meetup.Q: For anyone that attends these regularly or runs one....what are some of your best practices/tips/tricks to keep your audience engaged and growing?

From what I can tell with all the research I’ve done I need to set up the app on my phone (to see the video) while in close proximity to the camera to connect.

I really would like an app or site that allows you to compile a list of properties with notes on the spot, and bonus points if it pulls up any info on the property as well. 

With the numerous investors on this forum they have done this to, it is probably just the tip of the iceberg. 

I could go on and on with other tips as well.

Any tips on balancing renovation costs with tenant expectations when preparing a property for midterm stays?

Also, the turnover will be much lower, but maintenance costs might shift too, so it's good to plan for that.Happy to connect if you need more tips!

As for the rest of it, you can find a lot of useful tips on past forum posts along with podcasts and youtube material on the topic (BP and other RE sources).We've self managed STRs for a few years.
