I know its not exactly a typical vacation spot in this area, but I thought since it was close enough to NAS it might see more action, especially for MTR's. 

I used to be stationed there while in the military and there will always be demand there due to the military bases themselves.Do a search radius around Eglin AFB, Hurlburt AAF, Tyndall AFB, Duke Air Field, Pensacola NAS.

Often, NAs come out against changes if they haven't been consulted prior to the hearing. 

I know there is a large military population that live in Corpus Christi both from NAS Corpus and NAS Kingsville (they commute).

@Mike Nas, Informal is a tough characterization. 

If they are at NAS Penscola for flight school, and they get orders to Whiting Field (roughly 45 minutes north), that does not entitle them to break the lease on the Pensacola place they are renting.
