Was it a Kindle?

What is your opinion on audio books versus reading the actual text from the book yourself (whether that be on a Kindle or physical copy) as it relates to intellectual value and information retention?

I'll see if I can get the little woman to part with her kindle for a while:) I'm not a big reader so this might take me a while.

Download the kindle app, and you can find most of these books on there for cheap, because they are the digital version.
