I would request they pay rent the usual way, and then you can decide whether or not you want to utilize the app in the future. 

It’s inconceivable to me how someone with a RE broker license, a CCIM, and a plethora of Series Securities Registrations can think that the property tax valuation would be reassessed at a LOWER value after knowing that the subject property and neighbor properties were being sold for record prices with each recent sale.

I'm currently pre-approved but my lender gave me a "mid-level rate" which I believe isn't my actual rate since I haven't chosen a property but me not being as educated on the behalf and thinking it was my actual rate I decided to rate shop a bit.

The apartment building needs work all 4 units (60k) trying to decide what makes most sense.

If and when someone, or a reliable company comes up with a deal to fully manage a single room rental property for me then I’ll look at the profitability, ROI, and risk and consider it.  

Talk about mistreating someone and trying to back them into a corner, I had no information.

I'm based in WI and there are several people from NY investing here, some successful and some not---the common thread I see from the ones that are not is that they relied on someone else for information instead of investigating, VERIFYING and doing their own due diligence.

These aren't hypothetical problems—I personally own a triplex and know someone who owns a 10-unit building.
