Strategic alliances - a corollary of word of mouth marketing, but one that is more focused is what I call finding and cultivating strategic alliances.

I've served on the board of directors for 5 companies and I'm getting ready to start a new company with a national reach - which is the result of cultivating a relationship to the place where the funders sought me out.  

It seems like we're best cultivating a relationship with a local insurance broker in Chicago so he can field out the intricacies. 

I am a young entrepreneur in the western Massachusetts, and northern Connecticut areas attempting to cultivate intergenerational wealth through the assistance of mentorships, relationships, and partnerships in the Real Estate investing world.My goal is to have garnered enough passive income to leave my career in nine years or less.

If you can spin the transaction and make it less about the dollars and make it about a relationship that you have cultivated, that is your in.  

I have been doing more of the latter in the last two years and the current market makes passive investing more attractive for those (like me) who do not have the time to cultivate mature deal flow pipelines.

Another thing I considered today was the fact that so many successful investors harp on the importance of cultivating a system and a team to create efficiency.

To our delight we found that by splitting the parcel into four separate lots and attaching these already established enrollments to the new parcels, we could quadruple the total allotted area to cultivate.

End of the day though, it only takes 1 person out of the 4000 you mail to actually open it and the profit you make from that more than makes up for that batch of mailing.Since you're smart and running a long campaign, even if one batch gets a lower response rate you're still cultivating the seeds you planted many batches ago.

We discovered long ago that it makes much more business sense to invest money cultivating relationships with Realtors, investors and lenders who create repeat and referral business, than to chase web leads.
