Figure out how to keep your job and wake up 2 hours earlier, plan your calls at lunch and plan your activities at night to move pawns in the 5 chess games at once.Then at year 2 or 3 when you have proven 1/2 to full job income replace you can have those conversations of, is it time for full-time.I still run a tech business.

I don't have direct experience with Clayton Morris of Morris Invest, nor his wife Natali, but I have followed them for years as broadcasters and technology pundits.They have both been featured guests on This Week in Tech (TWIT) for years, and both held various jobs in the mainstream tech media before starting to build platforms of their own.I was bemused when two of my usually separate spheres of interest (tech and real estate) seemed to converge, as Clayton and Natali started pivoting from tech to real estate.They are thoughtful, entrepreneurial folks, and good at building awareness and interest.

Charlotte is one of the best areas in the US to buy rental real estate and it has been so that I know of personally since 1993.Top areas have been since 2002:Phoenix (now pricey), Dallas Ft Worth, Austin, Vegas,Charlotte.Charlotte is not a tourist economy like Las Vegas, CLT has a solid finance, manufacturing and tech base for employment.
