I would say that being within 15-20 minutes of town would be the max I would go if I were selecting a more secluded/private experience. 

There's lots of brands out there so user reviews would be bests to select but just know it may be more difficult to remove and some might have to be steamed and peeled off. 

Initially, I didn't select this route because I'm not located in the central part of Austin, but I would like to give this a try since the room is fully furnished, but will require some bedding, artwork, and a desk.  

If it were me, I would probably list my original house for rent to gauge the interest before pulling the trigger on buying the second house you have selected.

:)now, here's something... when we bought our house 13 yrs ago i knew nothing about remodeling. so when taking the wall paper off on one wall, 4 layers of wallpaper came off and some of the plaster. had no idea how to patch it, so we bought a bhear texture paint in a can that you apply with a special roller. and then we painted on top, so the bumps are smooth.so now, we have one accent wall in the house that's texture and everyone that walks in thinks it looks like art because we added some shapes that do not have the texture. even plasterers have commented on stealing that technique.. :)

Once you get her out, you will have to select a new tenant.

Or, just be more selective about the tenants you choose.

I've noticed a lot of coffeehouses decorate their spaces by advertising local art that customers can purchase.
