The numbers are certainly attractive but from my perspective and my own opinion about the city between high rents, everything being overpriced, taxes being very high, homeless issues, drug issues, the rise in violent crimes and the overall filth of the city, it is not worth the bet.

If instead of letting a select few wealthy people or those that are able to leverage themselves with additional mortgages for extra properties that they don’t intend to live in and don’t need, we invested in community ownership of buildings or making it easier and less expensive for individuals to own their own homes we would see a massive decrease in poverty and homelessness.
