@Mike Cumbie, very valid points that I had not considered, and as you mentioned, the last thing I want is to make them not want to work with me.For some reason, it didn't occur to me that the agent/owner wouldn't want to answer the questions.

I don't get all the property but I work out some deal with whoever gets it to pare off the area around me and make it worth his/her while.If each of these scenarios has equal chance of occurring, then there's almost a 70% chance that I am able to get what I want, which is a significant buffer around me such that no one can be on top of me.

BPers, I'm trying to calculate my net cash flow and it occurred to me that in the normal formulas we tend to use, we never factor in the tax write offs.

@Peter PrawelSometimes I get the sense borrowers are thinking that so rather than the address I just ask for the zip code and street.It never occurred to me someone would do that but once I started getting pushback on addresses it did.
