I am currently enrolled in a Real Estate Education course (Realestateexpress) in order to get my Real Estate licenses in MD and VA. 

Getting enrolled into your neighborhood in the app can be challenging since they try to make sure only local people get in - which is a good thing.

BP,I am looking at a deal in a college town with an enrollment of about 12,000 people & a population of about 25,000 people.

International students will be looking for furnished places, and you can do that and charge a premium, but if you're going to do that you need to make sure the school has a large international enrollment.

@Mario Arnone - It's sometimes difficult to find a CPA who both specializes in real estate and is located close to you in Philly.There are lots of good CPAs and Enrolled Agents on Bigger Pockets who work remotely and have clients all over the country.

It’s not an area that people will come to “party” it’s mostly an area people come to visit for our historic Main Street, shopping, business and a local university that as grown a good amount (a large part of enrollment is out of state).  

@Michael Dupree I have come across programs for new investors and/or fix and flip programs with one time enrollment fees.

If your tenant wants it badly enough see if he can enroll back in college.

I plan on enrolling in the capital syndicate program to gain more knowledge & experience, as well as anything else I can identify.
