Why do Non-profits not focus more on using their donation money to acquire assets that provide passive cash flow?

@Casey MilesOne more thing you aren't normally looking at credit of guarantor depending on size but rather the amount of monthly donations they average when looking at their capability to stay.

It's open to DoD personnel normally but I believe if you make a small donation to their charity, they will accept you.
