If you cancel on Airbnb they punish you through their algorithms etc pushing your listing to the bottom etc maybe this host didn’t care or doesn’t realize the platform will penalize him..

The former leaves the door wide open to unethical people, and the latter allows punishment of victims of circumstance - neither seems really right.I just want to do the right thing while not exposing myself to unintended liability.

If you have "weasel clauses" to cancel the contract up till day of closing, then the red flag goes up for intent.And for those who think that because you are out of state and never setting foot here that the Commission doesn't or can't punish you, you are wrong.

Most developers are coluded with corrup politicians and because of that they will not get punished if they defraud you.

If you simply mention or speak bad about it you are subject to the worst possible punishment.  

It is appalling that the law works to protect people like this, who are so obviously working the system, while simultaneously punishing the job creators/cash investors.
