@Chance Stem   As a realtor you know that you can be successful almost anywhere if you have a strong team on the ground and access to sufficient information to make good decisions.

We believe the ordinance proposal stemmed from conditions in 2017 through early 2018 when some syndicators/investors bought multi-unit buildings, raised rents and caused displacements.

Also other than silicon valley ( where I grew up) Michigan has the highest influx of stem graduates at over 15% and Berkshire Hathaway has opened up real estate offices at an alarming rate and we all know who runs that.

@William Harvey Honestly, this one just stemmed out of our inexperience in the game and not doing our due diligence.

I think confusion stems from folks misunderstanding how a state law came into affect and thinking the law prevails from the federal level down.  

Remember folks, Cannabis is now legal in California.. prison or property seizure is now out the window.

@Nathan G.Great topic, and similarly to you, I’ve been VERY careful not to talk money or assets around anyone really, as it is perceived as bragging and brings out passive-aggressiveness in others, which I feel stems from jealousy.The only person I am truly honest with, is my mother, who is beyond proud.

They specialize in real estate investors and cannabis.

I do not see myself in 5 years as a structural engineer and this is where my struggle stems from.
