Sounds like you paid them what a painter would have charged in my area .

Do you have to use the HOA painters for a cost of $5K?

The house is being extensively remodeled, contractors crawling on top of each other …we have painters in one room, cabinet guy finishing crown molding on those 42” cherry beauties, there is a deck guy shooting the heck out of nail gun outside, garage guys patching the siding, mortar guy patching and tuck-pointing the chimney in other words … scheduling mess, aka typical flip scenario ohh and there is a plumber who just pulled in hoping to replace the missing copper The guy walks to the basement and falls down the stairs (faulty railing).

Are there any nationwide companies that can estimate ALL repairs on a property at once, rather than calling a painter, HVAC, roofer, electrician, plumber, GC and on and on?

plumber 75-85$ hour, drywaller and/ or painter about12-15$ hour.

However, the HVAC & the sliding door(s) manufacturer(s)/installers he insisted on came back to haunt him.We also went with our own painters as his subs arrived smoking constantly & after a lousy job of primer we fired them.

It is not like referring plumber or painter for a home.

I do my own repairs and management and I can tell you that if I had to hire a plumber to fix little plumbing problems or electricians or painters or whatever then I would be lucky to break even.
