Painter vs General Laborer (College Students)
I have some college students asking me for side work. I was considering using them to paint the interior of a 3/1.5 SFR rental. Any concerns with using them? I have estimates for $2,200 and $2,450 for painting walls, ceiling, trim, doors and materials. I think I could save $1,000. Thoughts?

The biggest risk is that they likely don't have insurance. Up to you if you're willing to accept that risk or not. Interior painting is generally low-risk, but with college kids, who knows.
