Rent one side of the home by the room, STR, MTR, build an additional room to increase rent, store an RV in the backyard, etc.

I Been in California City since 2009 and a quite few things has changed they now have a quit a few stores that they didn't have  my mother and sister are still located out there.

I would switch out the door handle from the closet to store sensitive documents or belongings .

Low quality, cheap mass produced big box units.If nothing else buy a better brank from a plumbing supply store, nit a big box store

If I buy a gallon of milk at the corner store, that doesn't make me owner of a commercial property. 

With a grocery store within walking distance, easy access to the highway and train station, a nearby Home Depot, and ongoing renovations and new developments in the area, it felt like a no-brainer.

I think you can buy it a major pet store.
