They focus here because the price points are much easier, laws are landlord friendly, and more importantly they have a company they're partnering with that's vertically integrated that they like and can trust with over 20 years of doing business.

@Bryan Balducki a short term rental isn't a bad idea, tho I believe there's many laws in my area that prevent me from listing anything for less than 30 days unless I'm in the unit & available.
