At the end of the day, we were able to close the deal, with lots of hurt feelings on both side....Tenant and I quickly repair our friendship afterwards, to a certain extend ....I have to say I got lucky because of the friendship we had....

Many friendships are lost over business deals.

However, it can be really tricky to mix business with friendships, especially when it comes to finances, so make sure that you have clear conversations and documentation in place if this is something you're looking to do.

It's an amazing profession and I have created some great friendships with clients. 

I have developed a friendship with the contractor I'm using for work on my primary residence and he brought up partnering on an investment deal. 

Not only for real estate related topics but to form a friendship as well.

Create a friendship and dont just look to them for money, think of it as a sustaining relationship.

I'm eager to join the BP network and community, make new connections, and hopefully form friendships.

I have some great friends that are investors and they would probably partner with me but I'd rather just keep the friendship a friendship.

I have some incredibly bright friends that work for pretigious accounting firms currently, but I don't know 1) if I want to hinge very good friendships on business, & 2) if that would put them in a conflict of interest situation of some sort.
