It's what sold me on BP as being genuine in wanting to help others learn about real estate investing.Right now, I work full-time in healthcare, and while I'm not ready to make the leap to full-time investing, I do want to continue to learn how to realize gains that have a positive impact on my income.

Think of it as a tool similar to an IRA, however whenever health care needs arise you can use it.Another thing I have found through trial and error is that when you do need health care, if you tell the office to bill you as uninsured and that you will pay the day of service if they give you a discount, after you fight through the confused looks of the Accounts receivable dept - you can see a significant discount.A couple strategies I would employ and will employ when I cross that bridge.  

We have a lot of engineers, healthcare pros and agricultural mgrs in my area.  

The only political issues I get involved with regarding my business are issues that impact the bottom line such as healthcare or taxes.I keep social issues out of my business.

My day job is in healthcare operations and I am very excited about learning as much as possible by getting involved in the Bigger Pockets community.My goals in real estate are to create a portfolio of buy and hold rental property through buy and flip revenue.I look forward to learning and contributing as much value to the community as possible.Thank you!

Hi everyone,Quick intro/background on me and then I'll get to the meat of the post:  I'm a healthcare technology entrepreneur married to a real estate agent.  

I was a real estate agent about 8 or 9 years ago but found it difficult to devote the time needed to build a successful career with 2 young children and working full time in healthcare.

My day job is in healthcare IT.

Healthcare in this country is a mess and they put priority on the roof over their head.

I work full time in healthcare and have quite a bit of experience in business.
