I started looking at investing my savings and realized real estate is the best way to go, I began reading books and listen to podcasts religiously and guess which podcast I listened to the most :) .After returning to states I found these two old school investors (brothers) on Craigslist who were willing to CD out their 260k duplex near dt Minneapolis ( Marcy Holmes) for 10% down and 5.5% int, I knew just enough to jump on the deal and it worked out great.

I'm planning to begin REI in Palm Desert next year and really wondering how the rentals are doing in this area during festival seasons and off seasons. 

Already running on few hours of sleep I've started reading and listening to podcasts religiously and fortunately for me when I first started my RE education the first thing that popped up on google was BP.

As for our vacation rental out in Indio (think Coachella Music Festival) it is much more geared towards large groups so we have many amenities.

I was also religiously on BP reading and learning.

I bindged listen to bigger pockets religiously.

I also have major price jumps for sorority/fraternity parents' weekends, graduation, baseball series and a few festivals. 

Ive heard that doing a short sale for a church or religious type of property has a different way of working than a normal commercial property.

He said that he reads religiously, then I told him to go get his license, and I will recommend him to my principal to hang it.

That is my WHY for coming on to BP forum, listening to the podcast religiously and reading the books to learn the basics of real estate investing.
