I have 3 performing STR's in Central Florida and spend less than 3 hours week managing them.Now if you were to be an underwater welder with zero access to your phone for several hours a day, the solution is simple, you hire a manager!

But, it takes a commitment to be an ACTIVE investor.  

And brokers don't want tire kickers just calling them for deals, and they don't want to go out for a cup of coffee.

There are a lot of reasons that is a bad idea.On the other hand, if you could buy the entire condo and turn it into a small apartment, there may be an opportunity. 

It may not be an easy drive for an RV but it can't hurt to put it up for rent for them anyway.

Another example would be an off market prospect that meets the investment profile or a neighbor that nobody wants as one. - Referrals and resources: Identifying an investment prospect is one thing, the due diligence, lending and team required to successfully close and mange it are another story.

It can't be an unsecured personal loan. 

So if I pull permits and my work passes inspection, is there going to be an issue I’m not aware of?
