If the water smell rotten, it has sulfter and I believe is only curable with a carbon filter system of some sort.If it is just brownish in color, like suggested previously use an in line water filter BEFORE the air pressure bladder.

I think I am going to pass on this one.The next house we looked at was in need of just about everything but structural work....from the looks of it it seemed like an okay investment; then I go into the basement (to be honest with you the place kinda creeped me out; I think it creeped the realtor out too because she didn't walk around with me); in the basement there was water on the floor and it smelled like a serious water leakage problem....I told the realtor right then that I was not interested in this property.

That being said probably fighting an uphill battle to prove it and to get them evicted, if that is the route you would take.

Down the road I would be very interested in a much larger property but want to make sure I can handle the ownership/management of some smaller ones first.My wife is very risk adversed which makes this first purchase quite the battle at times but I am very confident we will be successful and grow our portfolio over time.I look forward to meeting and interacting with everyone!

If pets pee on the straight up concrete floors, the smell seaps through the concrete and it's a pain to get rid of.

You will hear some claim on BP, not Ken, that compliance is not required if the note predates the Act, not true in all respects.I can say that when a violation of law is discovered and the violator has then taken steps to comply after their discovery, there is an entirely different attitude taken by regulators, often to the point of no harm no foul.
