I am definitely doing more investigating this weekend- There is a park a couple miles from my work (I work a block from Microsoft) I am sure the rents there can easily be higher.

If its XP you really should get off that because Microsoft has stopped issuing patches and there is a very real risk of being hacked.If you're using an old Internet Explorer (or any version, for that matter) try a different browser.

What I have done so far is gotten together a database using Microsoft Access with lists of buyers, sellers, lenders, contractors and other investors in my area so that when I get a deal I can market to them.

Still kind of early, but the labor rates and materials appear to be very low.I have Office 2003 enterprise ed, and when I tried to open the bonus materials in the form of docs, xls and pdf's, I had to download the 37 MB, Microsoft Office 2007 compatibility app, in order to read them with M.S.

I am starting a few new ventures with one of my coaching clients that works as a software engineer for Microsoft and will likely do some freelance programming projects pretty soon in addition to growing our REI investments.I really enjoy doing a lot of different things (engineering design and test, software, real estate and securities investing, serial entrepreneurship, etc.).
