We got it professionally snaked and then was told that the main sewer line (Cast Iron) should be totally replaced and they recommended doing an epoxy liner for the transition pipes (near the sidewalk) that connect to the city's main line.

Yes, you may expose yourself to a lawsuit. 99.9% of Americans would take personally responsibility for watching their step, but there's always that one individual that believes life should be accident free.If it were me, I would talk to someone about building up the driveway side, grinding down the sidewalk side, or replacing a section of the sidewalk to balance things out better.

Not sure if Indiana has particular tenant laws about windows needing screens for safety reasons, but it is very possible because no screens is a definite safety issue.For the sidewalk issue, are you talking about a sidewalk up to your house or the actual sidewalk by the road?

They seem to be mowing around them.. but they are on sidewalks so no work gets done on those and I saw some on over pass sidewalks to me thats really dangerous stuff goes over the edge and into your car going at freeway speeds that could kill someone.

I failed to mention that the subject property did have burglar bars on the doors, windows, and also the yard itself...which began at the sidewalk.
