I'm not an HVAC tech but if the condenser motor is not as powerful as the blower motor that is supposed to be in there, it makes sense that the fan stays on longer since it is taking longer fill the unit with hot air to the point where the thermostat reaches its designated temp set point and turns off the fan/heat mode.
