@Ben Leybovich  the reason the banks won't do this en mass is they will have defaults and then have to set capital aside for bad loans  regulators will make them take assets and mark to market and all that lovely stuff.

I think they have an interesting concept, but I think the market is wrong to expect they will be buying SFR's en masse at scale.
