I do not recommend that approach--I've since wised up and put the duplexes under property management, and gotten my DIY/jack of all trades tendencies under control and converted into more of a 4-hour workweek philosophy.

If it was unpaid time off, send in the last full 40 hour work weeks paystub, and the one immediately before that that.I often ask hourly employees for two months of paystubs just so I can cherry pick out one month of 40 hour work weeks instead of having to go back and ask for more paperwork or a LOE or blablabla.

You will probably have to swoop in and buy Bro Investor's "deal of a lifetime" in 12 months when the market turns down, but by then Bro Investor will be posting in a forum about opening up a co-working space in Bali with 4-Hour Work Week on every table. lol great title.

A valuable lesson from Tim Ferriss in The Four Hour Workweek is to have a plan for what you will do once work becomes optional.

That is something which could even become scalable (ie. 4 hour workweek) and which could still allow me to invest time and money into RE.

Look up anything you may have questions on.I know you may not know where to even begin, so that's why I'd suggest reading books like the Four Hour Work Week, The One Thing, and E-Myth.
