From Hobby to Business

Jared Pinkus
Posted

I'm new to investing, closed my first deal just a few months back. I've made what seems to be a common mistake by treating this as a hobby rather than a business. I'm taking some time before finding my next deal to focus and develop the tools needed to make the switch from hobby to business. Anyone have advice developing policy/procedures to reference when different situations arise? Any help is appreciated!

YouTube University my man!  Look up anything you may have questions on.

I know you may not know where to even begin, so that's why I'd suggest reading books like the Four Hour Work Week, The One Thing, and E-Myth.  That way it'll get your mind on the right track and asking the right questions.

Hope this helps and happy holidays.
