Don't be hesitant to take up some of the free trials -- almost as good as the real real world for testing the theories and strategies from textbooks.

It's kind of old school but gives you workbooks, Walt Huber's textbook series (so you can take notes in an actual book) as well as online materials, a test preparation workbook, etc.

You would need to remember a ton of information or you could open your text book and look at your notes and go to that subject material.The MLS access is a big benefit, but not as much as the initial knowledge that you could gain.

You learn faster with instructions (e.g a good textbook or tutorial). 

I learned exponentially more about business from actually building one than I ever would have from the college professors who hadn't owned their own businesses and were teaching from textbooks.  

This is from field experience, not a text book, IMO. :)
