Kinda need a refresher and insight.

If you are in C and D class areas it is a quick, cheap way to refresh floors.

I've been re-listening to all the podcasts and trying to refresh on it all!

It is very refreshing to see @Greg Dickerson list “vision” as the very first requirement to becoming a developer, I couldn’t agree more.  

Btw it’s so refreshing to come across another young woman in Philly who’s investing in real estate! 

I read the lease and the ordinances once a year to refresh my memory.

Refreshments will be provided.- I'll open by covering the latest developments in the Spokane market such as the number of recent sales, average transaction values, number of days on market, etc. - I also have a local lender who has offered to assist with the meet ups who can come in to discuss the latest developments in loans and the issues he is seeing day in day out, as well as rate developments, etc. - From there I'd love it if attendees with different specializations such as hard money lenders, contractors, property managers, newbies, veteran investors and everybody in-between could present for 10-15 minutes on a topic of their choosing that could then be discussed so everyone can learn from each other.- Finally a live deal analysis conducted by a different attendee every month so we can learn from each others methods.Whilst the meet up will be hosted by me (a Realtor) & a local lender these meetings aren't intended to be a sales pitch for our respective services, they are intended to be a consistent time and place for local, like minded people to get together and talk real estate.Let me know your thoughts below in terms of whether you're interested in a monthly event like this and also what format you'd like for it to take.

@Andre JerniganIn no particular order -The BiggerPockets podcasts-Target Market Insights-The Rental Income Podcast -The Corporate Investor (mostly talking to people who transitioned from FT job to FT real estate investor-Apartment Building Investing (Michael Blank, another syndicator)-Refresh Your Wealth (mostly lawyers and CPAs discussing tax&legal strategies for your business&investments)-Millionaires Unveiled (not exclusively real estate, but gives perspective on what people did to become financially free)Occasionally some Grant Cardone /Rich Dad Poor Dad radio/Dave Ramsey =completely different perspectives on how to become wealthy but I think it’s good to hear both sidesJust keep in mind podcasts & gathering knowledge is nice, but eventually have to start taking action towards your goals.

@Jason Avila It is refreshing to hear that you've already acknowledged the opportunity cost(s) and actually understand how to use your TSP and borrow from it.

Powel, it is so refreshing on hearing the success stories sometimes, as all the negatives wear me down sometimes.
